Strawberry Cheesecake Dip
A simple Strawberry Cheesecake Dip with all of the flavour of a strawberry cheesecake, without turning on the oven of all of the effort of assembling an actual cheesecake.
Strawberry Cheesecake Dip Recipe
Today’s recipe is one of those fly-by-the-seat of your pants recipes that just calls for whatever you have on hand.
Quite simply, my daughter and I were settling in for a movie night and one of us said out loud that we were craving a strawberry cheesecake… and not being strangers to a bit of kitchen experimentation, we decided to check out what we had on hand that would satisfy that craving.
We had cream cheese, powdered confectioner’s sugar Cool Whip, vanilla extract and strawberry jam – and quickly realized that those ingredients combined perfectly to make a strawberry cheesecake dip!
Even if you don’t have all of these ingredients, you can also whip up a quick strawberry cheesecake dip:
- Swap out the Cool Whip for greek yogurt
- Use homemade whipped cream instead of Cool Whip by whipping 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream for 4 minutes – if using, add an additional 1/4 cup confectioners sugar to sweeten
- Use strawberry jam, strawberry ice cream topping or strawberry pie filling for the topping
- Add freshly chopped strawberries
- Lay a graham cracker base on the bottom of your serving dish or sprinkle graham crackers over the top of the dip
The result is a creamy, fluffy, sweet and tangy no-bake dip that will satisfy your strawberry cheesecake cravings.
Serve this Strawberry Cheesecake Dip with:
- graham crackers
- vanilla wafers
- pretzels
- shortbread cookie sticks
- pound cake cubes
- fresh strawberries
- pineapple skewers
- sliced bananas
- apple slices
- heck, even a spoon.
Can you make strawberry cheesecake dip in advance? Yes, this recipe can be prepared and refrigerated for up to three days.
Can strawberry cheesecake dip be frozen? No, I personally don’t recommend freezing any dairy-based dip.
