Pressure cooking is one of the best ways to prepare homemade soup.

It can break down vegetables, cook meat until tender, and bring together amazing flavors – all in less than 30 minutes most of the time!

There is nothing more comforting than a bowl of rich, hot soup, especially on a hectic day when you have been run ragged and the last thing you need is a complicated or time consuming recipe.

One thing that does make many of these recipes a lot easier is combining your Instant Pot with a handheld blender. This avoids the need to transfer soup to a blender and also prevents the burns that can happen when hot liquid is added to a blender and the heat causes the lid to pop off during blending. (Ask me how I know…)

However, I really do love how creamy soups turn out when I use my Hurom Hexa Power High Speed Blender to make soups. It’s also really quiet, so I can make this soup or my favorite smoothie recipes at nap time without worrying that I’ll wake up the children.
