Yesterday I shared a Pull-Apart Pizza Bread that my family enjoyed on a recent family movie night – but let’s be real. Sometimes, a frozen pizza is exactly what your family needs to maximize the time spent together and let mom feel balanced from all of the other million things she has to do in a day.
Today, I’m partnering with Red Baron to share 3 Delicious Homemade Pizza Dips that you can whip up while waiting for their pizzas to cook – because being a rockstar mom isn’t about doing it all, it’s about getting it done.
When I was a teenager, the top pizza chain in my city had this amazing creamy garlic sauce – you always got a couple small containers with your order and it seriously made the meal. Whenever I find out that a friend is travelling there, I beg them to bring back that creamy garlic sauce.
However, since I’m not willing to travel 6 hours each way for pizza dipping sauce, I decided I needed to figure out a few delicious pizza dip recipes of my own to tide me over and bring our family pizza nights up a notch.
So that there’s something for everyone, I whipped up a spicy marinara, a garlic parmesan dip, and a buttery herb dip – all ready in under a minute each!

Ingredients for Spicy Marinara Sauce
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 Tablespoons sundried tomato
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, optional
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce, optional
Tip: swap out the seasonings based on the type of pizza you plan on having. I often use sundried tomato pesto in place of the sundried tomatoes which allows you to skip the food processor.

- 2 Tablespoons parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (or to taste)

Didn’t you leave out the Parmesan for the parm/garlic dip? The pic (and title!) looks as if there should be Parmesan cheese….?
