Halloween and Disney are two of my favourite things, so naturally I had to include a delicious Disney-inspired cocktail in our collection of Halloween cocktails, and came up with this Poison Apple cocktail.

A delicious Poison Apple martini, a fun fall cocktail perfect for a Halloween or Snow White themed party

Disney Apple Cider Cocktail Recipe

This Poison Apple martini is a fun fall cocktail that would be perfect for a Halloween party, or a Snow White family movie night (just make some virgin versions for the kids).

For the blood-dripped rim, you can set it quickly in the freezer to prevent it from running too much but I didn’t want to risk sticking my expensive martini glasses in the freezer because the stems are so thin and delicate. (It would be better if you have sturdy glasses.)

Tip: I often order my liquor from Drizly because they have a quick delivery time (sometimes within 40 minutes) and no expensive mark-ups. Purchasing from them supports local retailers, too. They have a great variety of Apple Vodkas which you can check out here. (Amazon does not have Apple Vodka so this is your best bet for getting some – and quickly!)

Kitchen Tools You May Find Helpful:

I really loved using my gorgeous Omishome Bartending Kit to make this recipe. The pretty bamboo holder contains all of the tools you need to make perfect cocktails, and those pretty gold tools add a touch of class to your home bar set-up.

How to Make a Poison Apple Cocktail

Start off with garnishing your martini glass by going inside the rim of the glass with a spoon full of grenadine, allowing it to stream down the sides of the glass. (You can instead use a bit of cornstarch with a bit of red dye.)

This cocktail can be served warm or cold, depending on your preference – warm the apple cider now, if needed.

Pour the apple cider and vodka into the martini glass and serve immediately.
