Grilled Peaches
My calendar keeps telling me that summer is almost over, but that just means I’m going to be enjoying as many summer flavors as I can before all that fresh produce disappears from the grocery store! This Grilled Peach Dessert is a fun summer fruit dessert that can be kept simple, or served with ice cream and a drizzle of honey!
Grilled Peaches Recipe
I never thought to share our grilled peaches dessert recipe on here before because I thought that it might be too simple – but that turns out that it’s simplicity is exactly why this recipe is needed!
Summer nights should be focused on fun, family and simple food. You don’t want to have to spend an hour on a delicious dessert – and you definitely don’t want to be stuck inside on a gorgeous day making it. Plus, many of us are trying to eat healthier in the summer so taking advantage of those summer fresh peaches is perfect.
(I’m definitely not trying to eat healthier in the summer. Summer is all about ice cream and beach-side french fries for me!)
This Grilled Peach recipe can be prepared on an indoor grill or skillet, or on the BBQ. It’s a perfect option if you’re already barbecuing for supper: just clean off a portion of the grill and grill the peaches as you serve supper.
The flavor of these grilled peaches is a delicious blend of sweet and smoky flavors, with a gorgeous natural caramelization of the peach to top it all off.
What kind of peaches to use for grilled peaches: The fresher, the better! You can even use under-ripe peaches for this recipe. Avoid using super ripe peaches as they can become mushy with heat.
For a different twist, you can brush on some balsamic vinegar onto your peaches before (or midway through) grilling. I love how the acidity and tartness play with the juicy sweetness of the peaches.

How to Grill Peaches
Place grill pan on high, or BBQ on medium heat.
Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits.
Brush sliced side of peaches with olive oil.
Place peaches cut side-down on grill for 4-5 minutes. If they are sticking slightly, allow them to keep cooking. They should remove easily when grill marks appear.
Optionally, grill the skin side of the peaches. (This allows the peach to cook thoroughly, but will result in the peach skin likely falling off.)
Serve warm.
