These gorgeous Beauty and the Beast Enchanted Rose Ornaments are super simple to make and add some Disney magic to your Christmas decor.

DIY Beauty and the Beast Enchanted Rose Craft

We have a bit of a Beauty and the Beast theme going in our living room, complete with a Lumiere Light-up Candlestick, Cogsworth Clock and even a gold-plated enchanted rose. (I know, we’re a bit extra around here.)

So, when it came to decorating our Christmas tree, I thought it would be fun to add some Beauty and the Beast inspired ornaments to the mix.

These enchanted rose ornaments were so incredibly easy to make – and making 12 of them came in at under $25 (less if you already have some of the supplies on hand). I think they would be gorgeous if you had a red and gold theme for your Christmas tree.

Since we already had red ribbon, floral wire and floral tape on hand from other crafts, I used those to make our red roses from scratch – however, if you want to skip that step, you can buy some small red craft roses and just build up the stems with some floral tape (to make them a bit more sturdy).

You could also make these ornaments into place settings for a Beauty and the Beast themed party or make them as a family as part of a Beauty and the Beast Family Movie Night.

Tip: if you don’t want to make the roses from scratch, you can use tiny craft roses like these and build up the stem a bit with floral tape.

How to Make a Beauty and the Beast Ornament

Start by cutting a 1-inch length of floral wire and wrapping it with the floral tape, making your stem.

Cut a 3-inch length of red ribbon, fold one of the short sides inward about ⅛ inch. Using that fold as your starting point, roll the ribbon in on itself, pinching one side tighter than the other. Hot glue the tighter side in a snug point. You may have to practice a time or two to get this right–I have to practice every time I roll ribbon roses.

Hot glue the floral tape wrapped piece of floral wire to the tight end of the rolled ribbon rose.

Remove the dome top of the cupcake cake plate, then hot glue the flower into the center of the cake plate, holding it in place upright until the hot glue is completely cooled.

Cut 2-3 ¼-inch ovals of red ribbon and place these on the cake plate randomly, hot gluing them in place.

Cut a 1-inch long piece of floral tape. Fold it over onto itself, sticky-side to sticky-side. Cut out 2-3 leaf shapes from this floral tape and hot glue them in place on the stem of the rose.

Wrap a 3-4 inch long beaded ribbon around the flower to add some “magic.”

Hot glue the dome lid back onto the cupcake plate and hot glue in place.

Wrap a 4-inch length of ribbon around the top of the dome and hot glue it in place to make a hanger.
