Salted Caramel Brownie Mocha Latte
You know I love a good homemade latte, but my friend Dee really outdid herself with this decadent Brownie Mocha Latte, which I’m so excited to share with you today!
Mocha Latte Recipe
There are a few non-negotiable in my day:
- plenty of water
- cuddles with my girl
- a chapter of a good book
- dessert
Even if it’s just a cookie or Ferrero Rocher, I really enjoy having something sweet to finish off my day.
Dee knows this, so after a delicious supper at her house, she presented me with this over-the-top post-supper coffee, complete with whipped cream, a whole brownie and maraschino cherry on top!
Not only did it look amazing, it was a perfectly balanced mocha latte with just a touch of salted caramel. It tasted like a hot chocolate with just the right amount of espresso coming through.
I asked if I could share the recipe with you all and boy did she deliver – sending me these cute pictures and that decadent recipe the next day!
Before we get to the recipe, I have to give a shout-out to my espresso/latte maker. I love love love my De Longhi Nespresso maker. I can make espresso-based drinks (like lattes or Americanos) or even just steam milk for hot chocolate or teas at the touch of a button and it’s super easy to clean.
It’s a bit of an investment, but I so enjoy my twice-daily lattes now, and if you are a regular Starbucks drinker (or any other specialty coffeeshop drinker), this will actually save you money.
