Key Lime Popsicle Recipe

Today, I’m sharing with you a creamy frozen confection that will make you feel like you’re in the tropics… or at least your tastebuds are!

These key lime pie popsicles feature a zesty and tart lime flavour balanced with sweet and creamy ingredients (thanks to the addition of fresh avocado, maple syrup and vanilla almond milk).

It’s a refreshing, melt-in-your-mouth treat that is super easy to make – just blend and freeze!

(PS – one of my kids’ favorite kitchen gadgets is this instant popsicle maker. It makes popsicles in less than a minute! I don’t use it as often as I would like since it has to be placed in the freezer a day in advance, but it is such a cool product!)

All credit for this recipe goes to Almond Breeze® Non-Dairy Milk – they sent me this recipe a few years ago and at the time I thought “they must be kidding me?! Spinach and avocado in a kid-friendly popsicle?!” But, this key lime pie popsicle recipe is actually really good and it’s a great way to sneak some extra healthy greens into your children’s summer snacks.

(This post is not compensated in any way – I mention the brand because they are the ones who developed this recipe and deserve all of the credit… and if you don’t like the recipe, they get all the blame, too!)

Avocados are a great source of healthy fats, fiber, and vitamins while spinach is a great source of vitamins, folic acid, iron, and calcium.
