One of the best things that I ever did was learn how to meal plan.
It has saved me so much time, money, and stress and has allowed me to stick to a healthy eating lifestyle — and since I’m doing the work every week anyways, I thought I should share our family’s 7-day healthy meal plans with you!
Every Friday, I share a complete meal plan for the next week (including snacks) along with a free printable grocery shopping list.
Our family believes to a 90% healthy eating lifestyle, but what we consider healthy may differ from your own beliefs. If you’d prefer to strike out on your own and make your own meal plans, check out our guide on How To Meal Plan.
Most of our meal plans include:
- vegetables with almost every meal
- decent amount of protein from diverse sources
- a fish-based meal at least once per week
- plan-overs (cook once, eat twice)
- delicious breakfast ideas (no cereal days, here!)
- at least one crockpot meal per week
- easy homemade snacks
I’m a self-professed foodie, but I have no desire to spend all of my time in the kitchen, so what you’ll find in each meal plan are delicious and healthy recipes that can be made quickly and with little technical skill. Kids can even help out with many of these recipes!
