Flaming S’mores Cocktail
A delicious chocolate cocktail inspired by the ultimate summer treat: a classic s’mores. This Flaming S’mores Cocktail is a tasty summer cocktail with a bit of a theatrical side thanks to a quick flambe before enjoying.

I first shared this S’mores Martini recipe on my friend Amanda’s site.
Flaming S’mores Cocktail Recipe
This s’mores cocktail recipe was definitely one of my favorite recipes so far to create.
Not only does it have an amazingly chocolate flavor profile and a fun marshmallow-cocoa rim on the glass, but who doesn’t love a cocktail with a bit of theatrics?! (Like our Vampire’s Kiss Smoking Cocktail that incorporate dry ice for a spooky effect.)
Thanks to the addition of high-proof vodka (or rum) you can literally set this cocktail on fire!
Not only does this make a fun spectacle, it also burns off some of the high-proof alcohol content to make this cocktail more sippable. *If you’re not planning on lighting the cocktail on fire, I definitely recommend swapping out the high-proof vodka for a standard 30-40% content vodka so it’s actually enjoyable to drink.*
This Flaming S’mores Cocktail is a fun summer drink that puts all the flavors of your favorite campfire treat into a martini glass. A great summer treat just for grown-ups!
Note: I created this recipe in 2015, when I was pretty new to photography and as a result I didn’t capture the flaming effect of the cocktail as well as I would have liked. You can kind of see it in the image just before the ingredients list.
I often order my liquor from Drizly because they have a quick delivery time (sometimes within 40 minutes) and no expensive mark-ups. Purchasing from them supports local retailers, too. They have all of the liqueurs needed to make this flaming s’mores cocktail – marshmallow vodka, cinnamon whiskey, chocolate liqueur and high-proof vodka (which is necessary if you want to actually light this cocktail).

Pour the contents of the martini shaker into the martini glass, and then carefully pour the high-proof vodka over the top – pouring over the top of a spoon if necessary.
Using a barbecue lighter, set a flame just on top of the martini and let it burn for a minute before blowing it out and carefully enjoying.
