Dark Chocolate Champagne Cocktail
If you’re the type to order a Guinness when it’s not St. Patrick’s Day, this delicious Dark Chocolate Champagne Cocktail is for you!
A couple of years ago I was attending a Food & Wine Show and tried this decadent Dark Chocolate Stout for the first time. It’s creamy and well-balanced with a natural chocolate taste that works nicely with the dark stout.
(If you’ve ever tried my Guinness Cakepops, you already know how great chocolate and stout tastes!)
This “cocktail” is definitely for the true stout lover who wants a fun cocktail without indulging in hard liquor. It’s a bit bubbly and sparkly while still tasting mostly like a delicious chocolate-infused stout.
If you cannot find chocolate stout in your area, I’ve also experimented with making this cocktail with regular stout and a bit of chocolate liqueur and it turns out great. You can order it from Drizly, which is my go-to for alcohol delivery. It’s usually less than an hour before I get my order and they have no mark-ups.

How to Make A Dark Chocolate Champagne Cocktail
Place the edible glitter in a shallow bowl or plate that the top of your drink will fit into.
Use a pastry brush or your finger to apply the corn syrup along the edge of the glass and then dip the glass into the edible glitter to make a pretty rim.
Pour the stout into your glass and when ready to serve, top with the champagne. (If using chocolate liqueur with regular stout, layer the liqueur first then the stout.)
