Today’s recipe collection is for the true wine lovers out there. All of the recipes we’re featuring today use Red Wine in a unique way – way beyond cocktails or sangrias! We’re talking red wine desserts, red wine butter, red wine lattes, and more!
Unique Recipes Using Red Wine
While I love a glass of red wine, I sometimes go a few days or even weeks between glasses which can cause the wine left in the bottle to go sour.
(Did you know that red wine starts to spoil after just 3-5 days of opening?)
Typically, I’ll just use that red wine to make Sunday Gravy, Beef Bourginon, or some other decadent recipe that calls for a glug of red wine, but I wanted to see what other options were out there – and the options I found were not only worth saving a bit of wine in the bottle, some of them are totally worth cracking open a new bottle for! (And if you’re cooking – or baking – with wine, it’s only right to pour yourself a glass, too!)
These recipes are not only fun, they make great gifts for the oenophile in your life.
