A fun slime recipe for fall, this Orange Glitter Slime is a gorgeous way to transform plain clear glue into a pretty sensory delight!

A quick and easy recipe for a glittery autumn slime perfect for rainy day sensory play. This 3-ingredient slime recipe adds super fine glitter for an iridescent and mesmerizing effect but doesn't leave glitter all over your hands!

Autumn Glitter Slime Craft

In this house we can not get enough glitter – and sometimes that means glitter slime!

This pretty autumn-themed glitter slime starts out with pretty strips of different fall-inspired colors that combine and blend as kids play to make a shimmery, pretty autumn glitter slime that is both gorgeous and captivating.

My daughter loved stretching out the slime and staring at how pretty the glitter was when it caught the light streaming in from our window. And I was very happy not to find any trace amounts of glitter on our dining room table when she was done playing!

If you’re averse to having loose glitter in the house (and I don’t blame you), you can instead make this slime using glitter glue. Elmer’s has both a red glitter glue and a gold glitter glue that would be perfect for this slime. (I don’t recommend using off-brand glues for slime, especially not glitter glues. We’ve had a lot of slime fails attempting to use off-brand glitter glues.)

This pretty, glittery slime is a fun sensory activity for fall – whether you’re making it for a fall playdate or looking for something to do on a rainy day. It would also make a cute homemade gift for the little slime lovers in your life.

How to Make Orange Glitter Slime

Pour the clear glue into a medium-sized bowl.

Use a fork to stir in 1/4 cup warm water.

Add 1/4 cup Liquid Starch and stir well for 2 minutes.

Test the slime and add more water if too stiff, more Liquid Starch if too sticky.

Continue stirring until the slime forms into a ball, then knead for 2 minutes, adding more water or liquid starch, as needed.

Once the slime is stretchy and no longer sticky, divide into three balls.

Use a small amount of dye to dye each ball orange, red or brown. Then mix in the corresponding glitter.

Lay the slime colors out in strips to play.
