Mix & Match Belle-inspired Outfits
When I shared our Alice in Wonderland Mix & Match Wardrobe Board a few weeks ago, it was shared like crazy! I was so excited to be amongst Disney-loving grown-ups like myself, so naturally I celebrated by cooking up another Disney wardrobe board, this time with Belle-inspired Outfits.
Belle was my favourite princess growing up and I remember putting on my over-played Dirty Dancing soundtrack and twirling around in a shiny Belle costume in my living room, imagining the giant ballroom and princes in disguise.
For us book-loving girls, Belle was a promise that being selfless and smart were winning qualities, and the whimsy of that magical castle was enough to marvel any skeptic.
When I heard that Disney would be releasing a new live-action Beauty & the Beast starring Emma Watson (who famously shared the above clip when rumours started swirling that she was dating a prince) I got so excited – until I found out it wasn’t coming out until March 2017!
I guess I’ll just have to console myself with a hot cup of tea from my awesome Mrs. Potts teapot while dressed up like a modern Belle!
