Decoupage Ornament Craft

Last year, I loaded up on plain ornaments the minute they went on sale and this year, I am having so much fun coming up with unique ways to decorate them!

This decoupage ornament craft is super easy to make with kids and a great way to use up leftover fabric scraps – something we always have plenty of now that my daughter has developed a love for sewing. You can alternatively use scraps of paper to make these ornaments – even leftover wrapping paper or tissue paper after you’re done wrapping your Christmas presents!

You just need a few basic craft supplies to make these easy DIY decoupaged ornaments and they come together super quickly. I was able to turn out 12 of these ornaments in less than 20 minutes. It’s a great way to customize your Christmas decor on a budget.

Ideas to Customize these Decoupaged Ornaments

  • add family member’s names, using paint or Cricut vinyl
  • customize the fabric colors to your Christmas decor
  • use jingle bells instead of holly to embellish
  • make a few of these ornaments into an ornament wreath
