Copycat Cheesecake Factory Bloody Mary Cocktail
After sharing my recipe for a Canadian Caesar Cocktail, I knew I’d have to give you a delicious, spicy Bloody Mary recipe – and this Copycat Cheesecake Factory Bloody Mary is possibly the most perfect Bloody Mary you will ever make!
I first shared this Bloody Mary cocktail on my friend Amanda’s site.
Copycat Bloody Mary Cocktail Recipe
I love a good mimosa or bellini for brunch as much as the next mom, but nothing comes close to a spicy Caesar alongside your eggs benny.
On a recent conference trip to Chicago, I confused my waitress by asking for a “Caesar” to drink.
“You mean, as an appetizer to start?”
“No, not a caesar salad, a Caesar cocktail.”
*silence, accompanied by a confused, slightly frightened facial expression from our waitress*
“You know, a vodka cocktail with tomato juice in it?”
“Ooooh,” (still giving me a side eye) “you mean a Bloody Mary?”
“Sure, give me one of those.”
To my relief, the Bloody Mary was similar enough to my beloved Caesar that it made getting the “are you crazy, lady” look first thing in the morning worth it.
I still think it’s an odd, slightly horrific, name for a cocktail – but at least it’s delicious and spicy.
I usually end up having to add extra hot sauce when I order one, so I was pleasantly surprised when the Cheesecake Factory Bloody Mary was perfectly seasoned. (I don’t know if they always make it strong and spicy, or if it was just the bartender that day – but either way, I was a fan!)
You can make a pitcher of these the day before your brunch or backyard get-together, or make them fresh as requested. Personally, I’m a “plan in advance and enjoy the festivities” type host – especially after a couple of these!
Tip: I often order my liquor from Drizly because they have a quick delivery time (sometimes within 40 minutes) and no expensive mark-ups. Purchasing from them supports local retailers, too. You can order the Vodka needed for this recipe from them.
