Cinnamon Toast Crunch French Toast Recipe

My mom got my daughter hooked on Cinnamon Toast Crunch and it’s now one of her top breakfast requests – so I thought I’d make a fun back to school breakfast featuring her favorite cereal!

This quick and easy Cinnamon Toast Crunch Breakfast can be prepared the night before and just popped in the oven while you are getting the kids dressed. After 30 minutes, it’s baked to perfection and your kids will be so excited to dig into this special breakfast before heading off for school.

Ingredients for Baked French Toast

  • 1 1/2 cups Cinnamon Toast Crunch
  • 1/2 loaf bread
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 Tablespoon maple syrup, plus more for serving

Tip: adjust the seasonings to your personal preference. You can leave out the brown sugar if you want a less sweet french toast casserole.

  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Large mixing bowl
  • 9″x9″ casserole dish
  • Whisk

How to Make Cinnamon Toast Crunch French Toast

Cut your bread slices in half, or into cubes. It’s easier to fully coat the bread if cut into cubes. (Lesson learned.)

Place the bread in your casserole dish and set aside.

Add eggs, milk, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon and maple syrup to a bowl and whisk together well.

Pour the egg mixture over the bread and cover.

Refrigerate up to 12 hours.

When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350F and top the french toast with the Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

Re-cover (with tinfoil) and bake for 30-40 minutes.

Serve with fruit and maple syrup.
