Ella and I love going out for an old-fashioned Afternoon Tea, but they aren’t always practical (only on Sundays, sometimes pretty pricey). So, throwing our own Easy Afternoon Tea Party – even when it’s just tea for two – is a fun solution that allows us to have some girly tea party fun whenever the mood strikes.

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Farm Rich. All opinions are 100% mine.

If you’ve been following my site for awhile, you know I usually make most things from scratch and I’m no stranger to homemade donuts (like our Samoa Donuts recipe) or delicious homemade scone recipes (like our apple butter scone recipe and easy berry scone recipe) but sometimes, from-scratch just isn’t practical.

Above all, the most important thing in my day is spending quality time with my girl. So sometimes, we skip doing things “perfectly” or “from scratch” so that we can get right to the good stuff – connecting and spending time together.

Other times, I just don’t want to deal with mess in the kitchen – being a food blogger, you would not believe the number of times I have to clean my kitchen in a day! So, going the semi-homemade route is good enough on those days – and that’s where Farm Rich comes in.

Farm Rich Bakery is a line of premium breakfast and snack items made with wholesome ingredients – and select items are now available in the freezer section of Walmart stores nationwide. For our tea party, I grabbed their Cinnamon Sugar and Chocolate with Vanilla Glaze Donut Holes, and also snuck the high-protein Cinnamon French Toast Sticks into my cart, too! Donut holes are a lot of work to make from scratch and drive-thru is a hassle, so I thought these would be a fun option for our tea party.

We decided to make our Donut Holes into chocolate donut kebabs – but they would also be perfect as a cheater cake pop!

Fresh baked Chocolate Donut Holes with that perfect crunchy exterior and soft crumb interior, your favorite combination of fresh fruit and a warm vanilla glaze, these kebabs are such a treat and would also be perfect for a special breakfast or brunch!

Watch our quick video below to see just how easy these kebabs were to make – and then scroll down to see what else we used for our quick breakfast tea party and grab the printable recipe to make these breakfast donut kebabs.

How to Make Donut Kebabs

Prepare your donut holes according to the package directions.

While the Donut Holes are baking, prepare your tea and fruit.

Allow the donut holes to cool slightly before assembling your kebabs.

Carefully push the donut holes and assorted fruits onto each kebab stick, leaving enough room at the flat end to comfortably hold the kebab without touching any food.

Lay the kebabs back on the cookie tray and drizzle with the warmed vanilla glaze.

Serve.

French Toast Finger Sandwiches

For the French Toast Sticks, I made these super easy “French Toast Finger Sandwiches” by simply spreading devonshire cream (whipped cream would work) and jam or hazelnut spread on one stick and then sandwiching it together with a second.  These Farm Rich Bakery Cinnamon French Toast Sticks have a sweet 10 grams of protein per serving.

PS- I could not get a picture of this girl without food in her mouth! She’s lucky she’s cute enough to pull it off (in my completely biased opinion.)
