Mickey Mouse Candy Corn Cookies
The last two years, Miss G and I attended Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween and it just didn’t work out to go this year, so I thought making some Mickey Mouse Candy Corn Sugar Cookies would be a special treat to tide us over… at least until we can go back next year!
Disney Candy Corn Sugar Cookies Recipe
One of my favourite things about Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Disney World is all of the delicious, themed desserts!
Last year, Ella and I had actually completed the Epcot Snack Challenge (we ate something in each of the 12 country pavilions) AND the “All 4 Parks in One Day” challenge (which meant one ride, one character and one snack in each park) so we only had room for a couple of the Halloween Party treats by the time it started. (I’m surprised we had any room at all!)
I love the giant iced sugar cookies that are always available in the DisneyWorld bakeries, and I’ve been surprised that they don’t do more Halloween-themed versions… so, today’s recipe is my attempt to rectify that!
While I made this sugar cookie recipe vanilla-almond flavoured, you could choose to add actual candy corn flavour, or maybe even crush up some candy corn and mix it into the batter.
These Mickey Mouse Candy Corn Sugar Cookies would be a super fun classroom treat or an option for a Halloween party.
Since they freeze well, I’m just slowly doling them out as special desserts or lunch box treats!
Tip: While Shop Disney sometimes has these cookie cutters in stock, they run out – often! I’ve found that Etsy is a more reliable source to buy your own Mickey Cookie Cutter!
