Ever since discovering whiskey last summer, I’ve been having a lot of fun experimenting with classic whiskey cocktails, like this Classic Whiskey Sour recipe.
Whiskey Sour Recipe
The Whiskey Sour was invented in 1872 and has been a favorite classic cocktail ever since.
Using just 5-ingredients, this classic tastes like a brisk lemonade and is a fun option for summer get-togethers.
Today, I’m sharing all of the details for how to make a classic Whiskey Sour over on SoFab Food – but if you try it, don’t forget to come back and tell me (or tag me on social media).
You Will Need:
- Whiskey
- Fresh lemon juice
- Simple syrup <– I make my own by boiling equal parts water and sugar until they reduce to a sticky syrup
- Cherries, stem in preferably
- Lemon wedges or slices
- Ice
You can see the full recipe, including measurments and step-by-step instructions over at SoFab Food.
