Spiderweb White Russian Cocktail
A last minute addition to our Halloween Cocktail series, this Spiderweb Cocktail takes a traditional White Russian and gives it an easy Halloween update!
Black Russians are my go-to cocktail recipe, hands down, but if you’re not a Coke drinker it can be a bit of a sugar rush for you making a White Russian, which substitutes the Coke with cream, a better option. Start out adding a little less vodka than the recipe calls for, just to adjust for personal taste. I prefer for the Kahlua and cream to be the focus, with the vodka just adding a subtle kick so I go with 2 oz Kahlua and 1 oz vodka for my White Russian, though that’s not exactly traditional.
Adding a spiderweb to this classic cocktail recipe is super quick and easy and adds a fun and unexpected Halloween touch. All you need is a tube of black gel icing which you can also use for some cute Halloween dessert decorating.
Tip: I often order my liquor from Drizly because they have a quick delivery time (sometimes within 40 minutes) and no expensive mark-ups. Purchasing from them supports local retailers, too. You can order the Kahlua and Vodka needed for this recipe from them.

How to Make a Spiderweb White Russian
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and pour the liqueur, and cream overtop.
Give the whole thing a good shake and then strain into your highball glasses.
Using a black gel pen (the kind used for cakes), make three circles in the top of the drink – each one fitting inside the one before, like a target circle.
Take a toothpick and place it in the center of the smallest circle. Drag it out to the edge of the glass, and then repeat, forming a web pattern.
Makes 2.
