Snickers Chocolate Bark Recipe
I have a bit of an obsession with incorporating Snickers (or Snickers-inspired flavors) into desserts. However, sometimes I want a little indulgence without a lot of effort, and that’s when this recipe really shines.
Thick ribbons of caramel ripple across a milk chocolate base loaded with roasted salted peanuts and generous chunks of mini Snickers.
Smooth and velvety chocolate gives way to the satisfying crunch of peanuts and the chewy, nougat-laced bite of candy bar heaven.
And probably the best part? Whip it up before supper and it will be set up and ready in time for dessert.

How should I store leftover Snickers Bark? Keep it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. You can also store it at room temperature for 5–7 days, but the chocolate will stay firmer and neater in the fridge.
Can I freeze Snickers Bark? Yes! Once fully set, break the bark into pieces and layer it between sheets of parchment paper in an airtight container or freezer bag. (This set of freezer containers is a crazy bargain.) Freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge or at room temp before serving.
Can I use dark or white chocolate instead of milk chocolate? Absolutely. Milk chocolate gives that classic Snickers vibe, but dark chocolate adds a sophisticated edge, and white chocolate gives it a sweet, creamy twist.
Do I need to temper the chocolate? Not for this recipe. Since it’s stored chilled and served as a casual dessert or snack, simply melting the chocolate until smooth works perfectly fine. If you want to temper the chocolate, you can store the finished recipe at room temperature, if desired.
Can I make this nut-free? You can use a nut-free candy bar alternative and skip the peanuts. Swap in pretzel pieces, crushed cookies, or sunflower seeds for crunch and salt.

How to Make Snickers Dessert Bark
Line an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch square baking pan (or a quarter sheet pan) with parchment paper, allowing some overhang for easy removal.
In a heatproof bowl, melt the milk chocolate in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between each until fully melted and smooth. (Alternatively, use a double boiler.)

Pour the melted chocolate into the prepared pan and smooth into an even layer, using an offset spatula or the back of a spoon.
While the chocolate is still warm, drizzle the caramel sauce over the surface, then use the spatula to swirl it into the chocolate.

Sprinkle the chopped Snickers and roasted peanuts evenly over the top, pressing lightly so they stick to the chocolate.

Transfer the pan to the fridge for 1 hour or until completely set.
Once firm, lift the bark out of the pan using the parchment overhang and break or cut into pieces.

Store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer as desired.
