Please tweak this recipe or remove it. If your vet said the sugar free version is fine to feed to birds because “its low in sugar” i would stop using that vet. Its low in sugar because it has ASPARTAME in it. Toxic to you, and toxic to birds. besides that it has artificial flavour and Red food coloring. You will have no idea how many birds are hiding off somewhere to die from this concoction. Use regular plain gelatin.
