In reply to <a href="https://sugarspiceandglitter.com/monte-cristo-sliders/comment-page-1/#comment-524004">Dianna</a>.

Hi Dianna,
They aren't cheese sticks just marbled cheddar cheese that was cut up - my daughter got into the Swiss cheese before I went to take pictures for this recipe, so I didn't have as much as I needed and had to sub it in.
Definitely any favorite jam or puree would work. Disney just calls it a berry puree now so not sure when that changed. The first time I ordered it, it was definitely raspberry or heavy on raspberry - and I hate raspberry jam (LOVE blackberry) so I never touched the berry puree again after that LOL A lot of recipes use raspberry, mixed berry or even red currant jams, so I think any sweet jam that you love is a great choice.

Also having eaten Monte Cristo Sandwiches at Disneyland at both the Café Orleans and Blue Bayou Restaurants for decades they use Blackberry Jam although I am sure Raspberry would also taste good.
