This is such a fun and creative idea! Kids always love anything hands-on with scents, and it’s a great way to explore their senses in a safe, playful way. I like how simple and customizable the activity is too.

I’ve been looking into fragrances a bit more lately and came across some Cupid Fragrances reviews https://cupid-fragrances.pissedconsumer.com/review.html Seems like opinions are pretty mixed, with some people liking the scent while others mention issues with quality or customer service. Still, for a DIY project like this, making your own kid-friendly version is definitely the better (and more fun) option!

We didn’t use those same flavorings – at the time that I wrote the post the brand I used was not available on Amazon, but I wanted to link to another natural brand. I find that some artificial flavors can lack the complexity of the original scent/flavor.
Vanilla and almond would be great! I loved raspberry, vanilla and ginger 😉

I teach kindergarten. My daughter attended Montessori preschool and I loved the idea of personal choice, ownership, and creativity. I am hosting a summer learning camp this year and the kiddos wanted to make potions. I used your posting as a starting base. Thanks for the great post!
