Thanks everyone who has joined the Study-at-Home Mama Facebook page (despite the lack of link on Wednesday… fixed).
I’ve definitely been sewn into a dress before, but that doesn’t really allow for… practicality.
A little bit soap-boxy, but I guess a conversation about privilege can’t help but be!
And since we’re on a soap box, one more before I get down: This post about coffee pods seems obvious, and if you are truly addicted to your “pods” I would encourage looking into the reusable option (an unfortunate omission from this article).
OK, off of the soap box and laughing along with these great, informative videos on how to not be socially awkward regarding disability.
As if Green Story Kitchen couldn’t get any more drool-worthy, now they have a Youtube channel.
Two post to my fellow Christians, or those that still appreciate the spiritual element provided by Christian articles. I really enjoyed Andrea from a Deeper Story’s perspective on single parenting — up until now it has been an abstract concept on the periphery, but I know we’ll have to start engaging in real conversations about it soon. Sarah is always on the mark for me, and this post about finding solace and being at peace with sadness was incredibly moving for me.
And, last but not least, the mother of all give-aways for the new parent (or the soon-to-be parent) is being featured on Natural Beach Living. Seriously, worth the two minutes it takes to enter — and you’ll find some cool blogs and pinterest boards in the process!
