Are you a fan of capsule wardrobes? I’m slowly becoming a convert and today I’m sharing a concept Fall Capsule Wardrobe from Kohl’s to show you how capsule wardrobes work and see if they are a good fit for you, too!
My wannabe-minimalist side loves the idea of capsule wardrobes, and to be honest, it’s one of my favorite parts about being on vacation. My clothing is limited to pieces that I love and have put real thought into selecting (you don’t bring clothes on vacation just because they were cheap), so getting dressed is quick and easy and we can focus on moving on with the rest of the fun parts of our day. There’s no sorting through the junk or trying on pieces only to find that something just doesn’t look right anymore because it’s been a few seasons since you’ve last tried it.
A great capsule wardrobe will be able to transition from casual weekend wear to business casual for work. When creating your capsule wardrobe think of your actual lifestyle before shopping – I work from home and only have to attend a handful of work-related functions per season so as a result, my budget and the comfort of the clothing is a priority.
I’m slowly getting better and part of what is keeping me on track is making up these wardrobe boards – so I hope you love them as much as I do, but if not, feel free to ignore these and skip over to my other posts – we’ve got some awesome new Halloween content and easy weeknight suppers you might enjoy more!
I’ve also put together some other fall shopping guides: the first two, I’ve split them up by retailer to avoid confusion – that way you can do all of your shopping and selecting from one online shop if you’d like! The Kate Spade collection is from either 6pm or Amazon, wherever I found the best deal for it.
