I had my son’s kindergarten holiday class party yesterday, and it went so well! The kiddos LOVED the puffy paint and decorating their houses and gingerbread men. It was the perfect craft for their age. I used 9-10 cups of glue/shaving cream, and that did the job for 20 kids. Thank you so much with your help in making my event more fun and festive!

Hi Janel,
The recipe as written makes just over a half cup of paint. The amount you need kind of varies based on how thickly you apply the paint – we had enough to do probably 3 or 4 crafts but my daughter didn’t apply it super thick.
If you need it all ready to go for the kids and won’t be able to whip up more as needed, I would go with about 9 cups of each shaving cream and glue for your group, but you might be able to get away with 6 or 7 cups – but have extra on hand in case you need to whip up more?

I’m trying to make enough of this craft for a group of 17 kids to do their gingerbread man and gingerbread house templates. If you could potentially email me and let me know today you would be my hero but if not that’s totally understandable! I just am trying to plan a kids Christmas party craft.
