I first shared this Pumpkin Pie Martini recipe on my friend Amanda’s site.

Pumpkin Pie Cocktail Recipe

Ella doesn’t really have much of a sweet tooth, so I only make desserts when we have company over (or else I end up eating it all myself…)

However, with the start of fall edging in, I’m starting to crave pumpkin pie and pumpkin spice lattes – and what better way to enjoy a creamy pumpkin treat than as a creamy pumpkin cocktail?!

This vodka martini honestly tastes like a pumpkin pie in a glass, only better because it has two different types of alcohol in it!

Now, I like to make my pumpkin pie with maple syrup or maple sugar, and I find it gives the recipe a nice depth of flavor and rounds out the sweetness with the earthiness of the maple. Coconut sugar would also be a nice alternative, or you can stick to whatever sweeteners you prefer.

I also make my own pumpkin pie spice and tend to go a bit heavy on the cinnamon. Have fun and play around with this recipe to find the perfect flavor profile for you.

Also, while the majority of this recipe can be prepared in advance, do not add the spice until ready to serve as cinnamon can take on an unpleasant texture when immersed in liquid for awhile.

Tip: I often order my liquor from Drizly because they have a quick delivery time (sometimes within 40 minutes) and no expensive mark-ups. Purchasing from them supports local retailers, too. You can order the Vanilla Vodka and Creme de Cocoa needed for this recipe from them.
