Chicken Caesar Wraps Recipe
I’ve written a lot about love languages here on Sugar, Spice and Glitter, and how the best way to let your child know that they are loved is to communicate in their love language.
A simple, daily way to speak your child’s love language is through their lunch boxes.
Yes, we have to make their lunches daily, and yes, it can start to feel like a bit of a chore. But what if we looked at making their lunch boxes as a way to remind them, during a busy school day, of how much they are loved?
Include a thoughtful lunch box note. Add a special item (doesn’t need to be a “treat” – but it can be). Give thought to what you are packing and it’s presentation. You can even spend time together making the lunch.
One way I try to do this is to be thoughtful in what I pack Ella. I’m not breaking out the cookie cutters or theming her lunch (most of the time) but I do try to make a delicious lunch that she will be excited to eat.
And bonus: if she’s excited to eat it, she’s more likely to eat her food than chat with her friends or watch the lunchtime movie!
While grocery shopping at Kroger, I picked up all of the ingredients for chicken caesar salads. Ella loves them, but then it occurred to me (after I got home) that applying the dressing at school may be a bit tricky and the lettuce might wilt due to the ice pack in her lunch bag.
Luckily, all of those ingredients worked perfect to make homemade chicken caesar wraps!
For our Homemade Chicken Caesar Wraps, we used Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips. They are an excellent source of protein and 100% natural – no artificial ingredients, minimally processed, and no antibiotics ever.
Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips have a new perfectly seasoned recipe and are now even crispier – which is perfect for adding some crunch to our wraps. I love the contrast between the crunchy chicken, the soft flour wraps, and the tender, all white meat chicken.

How to Make Chicken Caesar Wraps
Bake the Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips according to package directions.
In a large frying pan or skillet, cook the bacon to your desired level of doneness. Drain on a paper-towel lined plate or baking sheet.
In a large bowl, combine the oil, mayonnaise, garlic and anchovies. Add remaining ingredients, to taste, until you achieve your perfect Caesar dressing ratios. (Your exact measurements may end up being different than what I prefer, so make note of your preferences on your printed recipe.)
To assemble the wraps, place one whole Tyson Crispy Chicken Strip in the middle of a wrap and top with either a whole piece of bacon, or crumbled bacon. Drizzle 2 teaspoons of the Caesar dressing on the chicken and bacon, and then top with a pinch of shredded cheese.
Roll up the wrap, and repeat with remaining wraps. (If not serving the wraps right away, you may want to delay adding the Caesar dressing so it doesn’t get soggy. Placing it in a dip container for school lunches is a great alternative.)
