These days, Halloween parties look like a slew of kids hopped up on sugar but I’m hoping to have some adult fun this year, too, so I put together this collection of 20+ Halloween Cocktail Recipe which would be perfect for a party and are sure to set a spooky mood! (And if you’re not throwing a party, who says you can’t still get into the Halloween spirit?)

20 Delicious and Spooky Halloween Cocktail recipes for the perfect Halloween party

Delicious Halloween Cocktail Recipes

Please note that I have only made about half of these Halloween cocktail recipes, and am unsure if the others perform as well or are as tasty. Please let me know in the comments below if you give any of these recipes a try!

I often order my liquor from Drizly because they have a quick delivery time (sometimes within 40 minutes) and no expensive mark-ups. Purchasing from them supports local retailers, too. You can order the alcohol needed for this recipe from them.

A Vampire Kiss cocktail has to hit that perfect balance between sweet and dry – and bonus points for dry ice fog!

A magical Color Changing Martini that tastes like a dirty martini, despite one rather unusual cocktail ingredient!

The Halloween Express from Creative Culinary is definitely the cocktail to keep you going all night – whether chasing the kids trick or treating, or having some festivities of your own!

This Boozy Candy Corn Jell-O came about after making a (kid-friendly) Jell-O version and thinking, “this would make a fun Jell-O shot.” Yea… I question my patterns of thought, too.

I am obsessed with this Creepy Eyeball Martini from Pineapple & Coconut – and of course, you can use the garnish on another drink option, but a Lychee Matcha Blood Orange Martini sounds divine!

Definitely going on my list for this year is this duo of Spider Bite cocktails from Minted – such a creative take on Black and White Russians, respectively. (not pictured)

Another duo worth checking out is this Lemon-flavored Vampire martini and hazelnut Haunted Highball from Berries.com (not pictured)

The Black Heart from Kelli Hall Design stuns with it’s black appearance and sounds like it would taste amazing! I’ve never had Creme de Cassiss so I might have to try it!

A fun cocktail from one of my favorite bloggers, a Bloody Eyeball Cocktail from Pepper Design Blog (not pictured)

This Dark Chocolate Champagne Cocktail has it all – the depth and deliciousness of stout mixed with chocolate and champagne bubbles.

If you’re lucky enough to have fresh blackberries available in the fall, you must make this gorgeous violet-colored Blackberry Mint Martini.

With our nostalgic Black Cherry Float Cocktail, the grown-ups get to have all the fun!

Why let kids have all the fun? I love the candy garnish on these Oogie Boogie Halloween Cocktails from Let’s Mingle – perfect for dipping into your cocktail!

It’s only fitting that my friend Stacey over at the Soccer Mom Blog has a recipe for Caramel Moonshine on her blog since the first time I drank moonshine was with her! (And she is bound to secrecy about that night!)

How pretty and sophisticated is this simple Caramel Apple Martini from The Eyes of a Boy?

A delicious sour scotch cocktail, this Zombie Kiss has a real kick to it!

When you want to drink your dessert, this Pumpkin Pie Shot from Mantitlement has you covered!

While the story behind it is cringe-worthy, La Lloronaa from Muy Beuno sounds absolutely delicious and is definitely a conversation starter!

If you’re up for a bit of experimentation with your bourbon, check out this Grave Digger Cocktail from Boulder Locavore for a sweet take.

My love for alcoholic floats is well documented here on Sugar, Spice & Glitter so this Hard Cider Pumpkin Float from Dine & Dash was an easy addition to this list.

If you’re a fan of Pumpkin Spice, you need to check out this Pumpkin Spice Horchata from Slim Pickins Kitchen. (not pictured)

With a name like “Sleepy Hallow Cocktail” you just know this creation from the Jewels of NY is going to contain something special and old school… like absynthe, maybe? (not pictured)

If you’re getting a bit jealous over all of the kids’ treats, indulge in this Root Beer Float Cocktail.

Not just for Halloween, this Smoking Gun Martini (below) is inspired by 007 himself.

One of my most popular recipes last fall was this Spiderweb White Russian (below) – and for good reason. It’s fun and delicious!

Of course, my Poison Apple Martini recipe (below) gets it’s inspiration from Snow White – and it definitely has a bit of bite!

The squidink is optional in this Blackbird Cocktail from Honestly Yum, but I kind of think it’s worth tracking down just to shock guests as they are drinking it. (not pictured)

Another dark and twisty cocktail, Black Devil Martini from Hapa Nom Nom. (not pictured)
