I love spring, and as I sit here typing I can hear birds chirping outside and see the flash of red as the cardinals flit by my window. It’s raining today, so I thought it was the perfect excuse to do some bird crafts for kids, like our bird feeder wreath!

(And it’s the perfect compliment to our 50+ Bird Activities post from last week.)

So far, we have made our bird seed wreath, clay nests, and PB&J bird seed ornaments – and I’m so excited at this list, there are several ideas that I think my kids would love!

  1. The cookie cutter bird feeder looks great for my Granddaughter. Along while ago I saw a recipe for a bird feeder made with yogurt cups and ketchup lids and twine, peanut butter, oatmeal bird seed and something else which I can’t remember. Have you heard of this recipe?

  2. Wow. The crafts are just fantastic. These ideas are perfect for creativity in kindergarten. I have already gone through a lot of Wunderkiddy worksheets at home with my child, and now it’s time for creative autumn crafts. Your site is a godsend!
