Miss G and I recently had a strawberry-themed movie night and had some fun creating healthy supper recipes using freshly picked strawberries. This Strawberry-Peach Salad recipe was the perfect side dish – but with a bit of protein (quinoa, chicken or even a handful of nuts) it would make a great entree salad!
Actually, this salad was supposed to be a Strawberry-Peach-Pecan salad but a certain four year old picked all of the pecans out and ate them before I could get any pictures. The fruit and nuts (and not to mention that salty feta cheese) was my way of making a healthy salad a bit more appetizing. My usually not picky eater hates spinach but she ate this salad with no complaints!
We paired this strawberry salad with our almond-crusted chicken and fresh strawberry salsa – be sure to check out those recipes, too!
