How to Make Pumpkin Pie Sugar Scrub

Grab three small bowls and a wooden spoon. My daughter will only use our red bowl while making Christmas gifts. I like to use stainless steel for while mixing food coloring in to recipes.

Add 1 cup of sugar and all of the cinnamon, ground clove, and pumpkin pie spice to one bowl. Add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla and 1/4 cup of coconut oil to the mixture. Mix carefully until combined.

In a second bowl, add the other cup of sugar. Add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla and 1/4 cup of coconut oil to the mixture. Mix carefully until combined.

Move 1/2 cup of the sugar and coconut oil mixture to a stainless bowl. Add 2-3 drops of food coloring to the mixture. Mix and add more for a deeper color.

Add a couple drops of water if your mixtures seem to loose. The pumpkin pie sugar scrub should be crumbly consistency.

A little adult supervision to help your child scoop the mixtures in layers into your small jars.

(Optionally, you can make handmade labels and tie them on with twine. This may be tricky for little hands.)

    1. Why would iTunes bump up the prices for UK customers? Blech. Buying music from iTunes is great for people who have iPods and like music from the 5 major labels, so since about 70% of young people in the UK probably answer to that criteria I’d say that they’d be all over iTunes even though it’s more expensive than other stores.
