Peach Glazed Pork Chops - a delicious summer bbq recipe with a fresh fruit BBQ sauce

Peach Glazed Pork Chop Recipe

Ella has been going through a crazy peach-eating face – I honestly can’t keep the house stocked between grocery shops and I’m constantly having to cut her off, so when my brother invited us over for a BBQ and mentioned he’d be cooking pork chops I knew I had to create some sort of peach glaze or BBQ sauce to try out.

Ella’s sometimes hit or miss when it comes to steak or pork chops but these peach-glazed pork chops were a total win for her. (And my brother was happy to have a new BBQ glaze to experiment with, so win-win.)

I used fresh peaches for this recipe, but you can easily swap in peach jam or peach preserves. (Just also be sure to take out the water and sugar called for in the recipe.)

How to Make Peach Glazed Pork Chops

Puree the peaches with the water in a high-powered blender.

Place the peaches, water and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat and allow the mixture to reduce, becoming thicker and stickier.

Once the glaze reaches a consistency that you like, take it off the heat and mix in the balsamic vinegar.

Brush the glaze over the peaches and then season with salt and pepper.

Grill or bake until they reach an internal temperature of 145F
