Mason Jar Gift: Santa’s Cookies
One thing I love about the holidays is how personal gifts can be – especially homemade gifts. This Mason Jar Gift of Santa’s Cookies will no doubt be a favorite for any lucky recipient.
I love how easy this desert recipe is to put together and how beautiful the end product ended up being! This is a go-to for last minute gifts too!
Making crafts at home is a past time I don’t think I will ever give up because it gives me a chance to slow down and feel creatively fulfilled, while often also being productive! There are so many options out there to buy cookies in a jar, but they just don’t get that “made from the heart” message that I love my gifts to have.
Making this Mason Jar Gift of Santa’s Cookies will leave you creatively satisfied and your friends or family excited for warm cookies “for Santa.”
Kids helping with this craft will love the extra time in the kitchen. Scooping and measuring is a great hands on lessons that will keep kids happily entertained while you make labels and create gorgeous decorations for the tops of your mason jar gift. Keep kids involved in the gift giving process will help them understand the true meaning of the holiday season.
Mason Jar Gifts are great for silent auctions at church or to give to neighbors as a fun gift!

How to Make Mason Jar Gift: Santa’s Cookies
Clean your mason jar before making this craft.
Layer the ingredients in a 1 quart jar in the order given. Press each layer firmly in place before adding the next layer. Adding the white ingredients to the top and the bottom of the jar gives a satisfying winter feel, but you are welcome to add the ingredients in any order you wish.
Add a small dab of hot glue at the top of the mason jar and attach one end of the twine. Wrap the twine several times around the top of the jar. Tie in a small piece of tree trimmings and add another dab of hot glue to keep the trimming from sagging.
Making these Mason Jar Santa’s Cookies is easy and fun. Set up a couple jars at one time and have several gifts ready at one time!
