Lauren Cornier wrote about “The Day My Son Gave Up On Me” and when I read it the first time, I loved it, it resonated with me due to my own guilt for having my own plans for my night after my daughter goes to bed… but now, a month later, I question it. I think, “why should I feel guilty for having a boundary? Why should I feel like I haven’t nurtured my daughter enough throughout the day that I can’t stop and nurture myself or focus on my goals?”
