We’re just starting to really get into the classic Dr. Seuss books now, so of course I had to find some ideas for bringing those classic books into our sensory play! I am so excited to share these Dr. Seuss Sensory Play Ideas that I’ve found!

This 10 Apples Up Top counting activity from Sugar Aunts might seem all sweetness and light… until the kids whip out a hammer to crunch those apples! We’ve played with baked cotton balls before and they are a definite favourite!
I can’t find an actual source for this cute Truffula Trees craft (despite doing a reverse Google image search) but it was too fun not to include!
We actually made Earth Slime just like this one from Little Bins for Little Hands but hers turned out much cuter so I’m going to share it instead 😉
We haven’t really explored sensory bottles much, but I think they are a great way to have some travel-sized fun without the mess! This Lorax Sensory Bottle from The Pleasantest Thing captures some mini-Truffula Trees made of everyday craft materials.
Oobleck is one of our favourite materials, and I love how A Spotted Pony paired Oobleck with the story of “Bartholomew & the Oobleck” however I usually think of oobleck as this kind of recipe, and would call hers slime. (But either way, her activity is awesome!)
