We’re back with the February 5-8 Edition of the Linky Party in the Kids’ Kitchen!
This week I want to share with you these awesome Vegetable Cookies that I made for a special heart-themed lunch this week.
These cookies are quick and easy to make, and the kids loved them!
To make Vegetable Cookies you need:
- Cucumber slices
- Red pepper (or strawberry – but that makes it a fruit and vegetable cookie!)
- Spinach dip (or hummus)
- Small heart-shaped cookie cutter
Simply use the cookie cutter to cut a heart out of the top slice of cucumber, and cut a small heart out of a piece of red pepper. Insert the red pepper into the cucumber piece from behind to make sure that the edges are smooth.
Spread spinach dip on the bottom slice of cucumber, and gently top with the top slice!
Welcome to the Party In the Kids’ Kitchen!
I co-host this party every Thursday with Marie from Child Led Life and Vanessa from Mama’s Happy Hive. Every week we will invite an assortment of family-and-food bloggers to share their top posts so that you can quickly find some great ideas for your foodie family!
This week we have five awesome featured posts – three quick and easy lunch (or tea) time ideas, and two indulgent desert recipes that take a simple pre-made baking mix, and elevate it to a new level.
Please make sure to follow our wonderful Kids in the Kitchen Pinterest boards from each of the hosts.
